• This is the Academy Models 1/48 scale Curtiss USAAF P-40N Warhawk "Battle of Imphal" plastic model kit. The kit is molded in gray, and features finely engraved panel lines and rivet details, detailed cockpit, positionable canopy, and an external drop tank. Includes waterslide decals for 3 different aircraft markings. Skill Level 3, ages 14 & up. This is a model kit that requires paint & glue for assembly.
• The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was the first mass produced monoplane fighter for the United States Army Air Force.  It saw service from the first days of American's entry into World War 2 till the last day of the war.  The P40 warhawk is one of the most famous fighter planes of the world.  Made famous by the Flying Tigers in China, the P-40 served on all fronts of the war and was a popular airplane by pilots and not so popular by enemy pilots.
